Glass-Steel, Inc. can customize fiberglass baffle wall systems to accommodate different applications, structural configurations and project requirements. Systems can also incorporate framed doorways when access to equipment is required.

Available structural configurations allow Glass-Steel, Inc. to provide solutions for a variety of water and wastewater treatment applications.

Glass-Steel®, Inc. baffle wall systems are designed around EXTREN® pultruded fiberglass products. Fiberglass pultrusions are anisotropic in their physical characteristics, and laminate designs can be engineered according to structural and loading requirements.

Glass-Steel®, Inc. designs laminates to provide greater strength in the longitudinal direction than in the crosswise direction. Glass content and reinforcement configurations can be adjusted depending on the size, shape and structural requirements of the component.

Standard panel laminate designs can also be altered to provide higher glass content and increased longitudinal properties when required by the application.

Fiberglass baffle walls are used in water and wastewater treatment systems to create flow paths and separate areas within treatment basins and chambers. Applications can include clearwells, chlorine contact chambers, flocculation basins, aeration chambers and mixer basins.
